WORLD POPULATION DAY CELEBRATION

Interact Club of Desai K.K.Sarvajanik High School, Dhamdachha supported and organized the project to celebrate the day.

Various speakers from school and outside spoke on the subject. Approx 400 students participated.

TREE SAPLINGS DISTRIBUTION

Venue                          :     The Ambika High School, Gadat

Date                            :     20 July, 2012

1000 Saplings were distributed to the students for plantation at their home or in their village as this school covers 9 (Nine) Villages in the surroundings.

Interact Club of The Ambika High School, Gadat organized the project and supported well.

CEILING FAN DISTRIBUTION

Six tubelights, one Helogen Light and six Ceiling Fans were distributed.

Complete Financial Support was from RCC Gadat.

EYE CHECK UP CUM CATARACT SURGERY CAMP

Venue                          :     Raman Brothers Vidyalaya, Ugat

Date                            :     15 July, 2012

226 Patients registered, 23 free cataract surgeries done at free of cost, 106 spectacles were distributed.

TREE PLANTATION

Total 200 Plants were planted with the help of RCC Gadat.

‘FARALI’ FOOD PACKET DISTRIBUTION TO THE GIRLS

Venue                          :     Kanyashala, Dhamdachha

Date                            :     04 July, 2012

Dhamdachha is a tribal village. 125 tribal backward Girls were distributed Farali Food Packets for the religious festival of ‘Jayaparvati Vrat’

In each Packet, Banana as Fruit, Farali Chevdo and Laddoo of Shingdana was there.

Rtn.Bhikhubhai Vashi played key role to develop the project.



EYE CHECK UP CUM CATARACT SURGERY CAMP

Venue                          :     J.J.Mehta Highschool, Bilimora

Date                            :     01 July, 2012

300 Patients registered, 65 free cataract surgeries done at free of cost, 150 spectacles were distributed.

BLOOD DONATION CAMP

-          Venue : Koli samaj wadi, Gandevi

-          Date : 1 July, 2012

-          1 st July is a Birthday of our club’s Charte President Late Rtn.Amratlal Vasanji Naik. In his memory, we always organize Blood Donation Camp on this date.

-          Team of Redcross, Navsari provided its service.

-          The youth from all the Gandevi taluka donated blood with enthusiasm.

-          All the blood donors are felicitated with a beautiful momento in memory of Amratlal Naik

-          63 Units blood collected.



INSTALLATION CEREMONY

PDG Prafull Bhatt served as an Installing Officer.

DGE Dineshsinh Thakore, AG Anish Shah, DS Atul Desai and DS Nitin Ruparelia grace the function.

Famous Poet, Announcer, Speaker and Writer Ankit Trivedi was the key note Speaker.

Outgoing President Rtn.Sandip Naik felicitated the Rotarians and outstanding social worker for their extraordinary work for Rotary during the last year.

Incoming President Rtn.Amit Naik, Incoming Secretary Rtn.Tushar Vashi and the board of directors was installed by the Installing Officer PDG Prafull Bhatt.

PDG Prafull Bhatt, DGE Dineshsinh Thakore gave inspiring speeches. The Key Note Speaker Ankit Trivedi spoke well on the subject.

Aaprox 600 people attended the function followed by dinner.

Donation from various donors of Approx Rs.3,00,000 was declared for the incoming year for various service activities.
